How to ruin a first impression

Just tried the new meeting arrangement website MeetWithApproval. My first test of the beta, to schedule a meeting with two coworkers, sent notification emails with blank subject lines and the return address "NoReply@MeetWithApproval.com". Needless to say they were nabbed by the spam filters. As a result neither of the recipients was impressed and I doubt they will go back for a second look.
Just 'cause it's beta doesn't mean it can be released with poor QA. The first impression is usually the only one you're gonna get.
In all fairness to the site, my request for support was quickly and politely answered, and it appears to be an old bug that resurfaced. Still, this is a poor excuse IMHO.

I am very sorry you had this problem. Somtime, as a small company it is hard to find every last bug! This is why we launched as a beta.
This problem should now have been corrected. I really hope you can give it another chance.

Thanks a lot for your apology. I'm glad to see that you're keeping tabs on what people are saying about your company and responding appropriately.
If it was only dependent upon me, I'd gladly give the service another shot. Unfortunately my coworkers who received the blank emails are not as forgiving of new and unfamiliar technologies ;)
For me to successfully integrate something like this into our daily routine, I need everyone on board, and while I will keep pushing, their first reaction upon hearing about what they missed out on was "na, we don't need that, we can use email."
